I am taking a class called “Your Best YOU Ever!”. Currently in the second six week session, Feng Shui was the topic last Wednesday night. Clutter, being an intense part of many of our lives, was discussed in depth. As human beings, we are sometimes resistant to letting go of “our things”. Whether it be due to our stories and memories attached or our core beliefs, there are so many ways to release and reap great reward. I came upon an article about a woman that started repurposing wedding dresses into “Angel Gowns” for babies that do not make it home from the hospital. Often these babies are wrapped in baby blankets, towels or even wash cloths if they are tiny. While the beautiful little dresses do not make it better, they do make the families feel that their baby wasn’t just part of the process, but important to all that touched its little life. Check out NICU Helping Hands. This is a program that is nationwide, they are always looking for volunteer seamstress’s and they will send “Angel Gowns” to an NICU anywhere.
